The essentials of Christianity are the Trinity, Jesus is God, Salvation by grace and heaven and hell are real. Christianity was established through Jesus Christ. Christianity is faith in Jesus Christ who came to this earth some 2000 years ago, and fulfilled the prophecies of the Messiah to come. Jesus Christ established the Christian Church, and it is known as Christianity. Christianity is the faith that all true believers in Christ Jesus are united in through the New Covenant. Jesus died on the cross and gave His life as the atoning sacrifice for mankind’s sins, and rose three days later. Christianity is built upon the Rock, Jesus Christ. The essentials of Christianity are the doctrines of which the Prophets, Apostles, and those whom God used to to reveal His truth to mankind through the Holy Scriptures. (The Bible)

  • Old Testament – Exodus 20, Deuteronomy 5-6, Psalms 119, Psalms 138:2, Proverbs 30:5-6, Isaiah 40:8, Luke 24:44-47, Romans 15:4, 2 Timothy 3:12-17, Hebrews 4:12
  • New Testament – Luke 1, Acts 1, Colossians 4:14-18, 1 Thessalonians 5:21-28, 2 Peter 1:16-21,             2 Peter 3:14-18, 1 John 1:1-4

THE TRINITY DOCTRINE – One God 3 Personages

  • One God – Isaiah 43:10, Isaiah 44:6, Isaiah 44:24, Isaiah 45:22
  • Father is God – Galatians 1:3, 1 Peter 1:3, Jude 1
  • Jesus Christ is God – Isaiah 9:6, John 1:1-3, Colossians 1:15-17, Hebrews 1:1-12

  • Those who are born again will go to heaven – 1 Peter 1:3-5

  • Those whose names are not written in the book of life are thrown into the lake of fire – Revelation 20:11-15
  • Jesus warned of a literal hell and place of torment – Matthew 10:28


Romans 5:6-11 “6 For while we were still helpless, at the right time Christ died for the ungodly. 7 For one will hardly die for a righteous man; though perhaps for the good man someone would dare even to die. 8 But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. 9 Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from the wrath of God through Him. 10 For if while we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, having been reconciled, we shall be saved by His life”
