Welcome to the Berean Perspective Podcast hosted by Kelly Powers.  In this audio podcast we will be examining the Trinity Doctrine vs the Oneness Pentecostalism Doctrine on the nature of God and the gospel message for salvation.  There are many people today who oppose the Trinity Doctrine and claim that the Bible teaches against it.  Also, there are many people whom teach what is called Jesus name only baptism and they believe that a person must be water baptized to be saved.  This is an audio podcast response to various questions and beliefs that were shared with us at the Berean Perspective.  We will examine these topics and much more providing answers from the Bible.

Lets look at the first Century Church in the book of Acts of the Apostles.The Apostles were lead into all truth,(John 16:13) When he the Spirit of truth is come,he will guide you into all truth.The Apostles receive the Spirit of truth in (Acts 2:1-4).This Holy Spirit directed and instructed the Apostles on every turn.Having received of the Father the promise of the Holy Ghost,he hath shed forth this,which ye now see and hear (Acts 2:33).Peter standing up with the eleven (Acts 2:14) .Peter was also,given the keys of the Kingdom of Heaven,by none other than Jesus himself in (Matthew 16:18-19).Peter preaches under the anointing of the Holy Ghost,(Acts 4:8),supported by the eleven.When the people became pricked in their heart and said unto Peter and the rest of the Apostles ,Men and brethren,what shall we do (Acts 2:37).Peter for the first time,standing with the eleven used the keys to the kingdom of heaven.Peter,along with the eleven instruction the people,just what to do to be saved.In (Acts 2:38) Then Peter said unto them,Repent,and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins,and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.(Acts 2:41) Then they that gladly received his word were baptized:and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls.(Acts 2:47) And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.(1 Peter 1:12) Them that have preached the Gospel unto you,with the Holy Ghost sent down from Heaven.The Book of Acts of the Apostles-the only authentic history of the Apostolic Church,written by an eyewitness(2 Peter 1:16).
