Welcome to Berean Perspective Apologetics. This is a short video reply on PCD also known as Phillips, Craig, and Dean, and what to be aware of and why. Many people believe them to be Christian pastors, artists and musicians, and listen to their music and worship albums. However many are not aware that they do not believe in the Trinity doctrine as 3 distinct personages, and that they have a different view of the gospel.
What they teach and believe in is another Jesus, another Gospel, and misrepresent the Trinity doctrine. They would be similar to the Oneness Pentecostals, and similar to United Pentecostal Church International, (UPCI) Jesus Only, Jesus Onlyism. Those of the Oneness view believe the Trinity Doctrine is false, but Bible does teach that the Trinity Doctrine is true. For more information on the Trinity please visit our Trinity Doctrine section, where we have many articles explaining the Trinity Doctrine, from the Old Testament and the New Testament.
This is a video reply to someone who posted a comment at Berean Perspective Apologetics. They accused BP of being wrong and asked how come we don’t focus on the Word Faith Movement teachers. They also questioned why provide this information.
I have provided Biblical reasons why to be concerned with Phillips, Craig, and Dean, and their beliefs and teachings on Jesus, the Trinity, and the Gospel. Along with that we also addressed the Word Faith Movement teachers and preachers, such as Joyce Meyer, Benny Hinn, Kenneth Copeland, and how they teach that Jesus went to hell, died spiritually, and that is how He made atonement.
Word Faith preachers believe that Jesus did not to make atonement for salvation by His death and sacrifice on the cross, but He needed to die spiritually and go to hell. That is what people must believe to be saved according to Word Faith teachers and preachers. But to be clear the Bible does not teach that Jesus went to hell to make atonement for sin or that Jesus needed to die spiritually. The Bible is clear that Jesus death and sacrifice upon the cross was what made atonement for sin, salvation available for anyone to be saved who put their complete trust in Him.
We also have provided articles on T. D. Jakes, which proves that he does not affirm the Trinity doctrine. He has more of a Modalist view, which is similar to Oneness Pentecostalism. Sadly many have been informed wrongly on his teachings, with those on the nature of God and the gospel are false and heretical.
The issues are that Phillip’s, Craig, Dean, Joyce Meyer, Benny Hinn, Kenneth Copeland, T. D. Jakes, teach another Jesus and another Gospel. They teach in a false Jesus and false gospel, and it is important to know these things and be informed properly on what the Bible teaches.
The Bible warns of false gospels, false Jesus’, and encourages Christians to be on guard against those who teach another Jesus and another Gospel.
