Why is Resurrection Sunday the Most Important Message for the World?

Resurrection Sunday is a day that is celebrated by Christians all around the world, which is about Jesus Christ who rose from the dead 3 days after He gave His life as an atonement for sin upon the cross. This day, called also Easter (though has controversy on that), is the most important day for Christians and the world. For Christians Resurrection Day is a time of thankfulness, hope, peace, forgiveness of sins, eternal life, comfort, and true meaning in life. For those who are not Christians, atheists, agnostics, and other beliefs that do not believe in the death burial and resurrection of Jesus this day has no true value or meaning.

The Bible teaches that the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ is the most important message of hope for mankind (1 Corinthians 15). Jesus said for God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whoever believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life (John 3:16). After Jesus was raised from the dead He appeared to His disciples telling them that He died and rose again according the Scriptures, fulfilling the prophecies (Luke 24:44-47).

Jesus is real not fake, and the world needs to know that He loves them and wants them to know true life. In a world that is getting worse and worse around the world with evil, terrorists, diseases, depression, addictions, death, the message of the cross and resurrection of Jesus Christ is the answer.

Whether you call it Easter or Resurrection Sunday, this is a day for all true genuine born again Christians to unite together celebrating Jesus death upon the cross as an atonement for sin, and His resurrection from the dead 3 days later defeating sin and death once and for all (1 Corinthians 15:3-4, 55-58). Resurrection Sunday is also for the world offering hope, purpose and meaning, joy, forgiveness, and true peace. If you have not come to know Jesus Christ yet as your Lord and Savior, if you have questions, please share them and we will do our best to help you.

Lord bless
