Dear Jehovah’s Witness I have a question on what you believe the Bible teaches on who is Jesus Christ? This is a must to share with Jehovah’s Witnesses and to help them see they have been deceived by the Watchtower Bible and Tract Society. This is good simple clear information for Christians on how to respond to Jehovah’s Witnesses on who Jesus Christ is and who Jesus Christ is not. Can any Jehovah’s Witnesses explain why they reject and deny the Deity of Jesus Christ as God when the Bible teaches Jesus is Jehovah God in John 1:1, John 1:3, Colossians 1:16-17 and Isaiah 44:24? Back in 1965, when I was 17 yrs. old, on a Friday night I read Jeremiah 23:5-6. I was reading the old 1901 American Standard Version which uses “Jehovah” in the OT instead of “LORD” as the KJV did. It was also the Bible that the JWs used before they created their own translation. When I read the passage I wondered “Huh, I wonder what a JW would do with this?” The next morning, as I was finishing mowing the yard a JW, dressed in a suit & tie walked up to me & started talking to me. After a moment I said “Oh, are you a Jehovah’s Witness?” He said “Well, yes I am.” I said, “I was reading something in the Bible last night & I’d like you to explain it for me if you would.” He said “Sure, I can do that.” I went in the house & came out & started read the passage. “Behold, the days come, saith Jehovah, that I will raise unto David a righteous Branch….” He interrupted w/ “Oh, that’s Jesus, that’s Jesus.” I said ”Oh, OK.” Then I continued “…and this is His name by which He shall be called: Jehovah our righteousness.” He EXPLODED “Who taught you that? Who taught you that?” He was shaking his fist & stomping his feet!!! I just said “What are you talking about? You told ME what it means!!” I was praying “God what do I do now?” Finally, he stomped away. The Holy Spirit had set up the whole thing.
