Salvation is by faith not works is a discussion and debate that has been around for hundreds and hundreds of years. In Acts 15:7-11 we see that Peter stood up for the Gentiles in that they were saved by grace through putting their faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, just as they did. (Jews) Some believe that salvation is not by faith alone but is accomplished through doing some type of works, whether being water baptized or keeping the 10 commandments or some other law keeping perspective.
