The message of the New Testament from Matthew to Revelation is that grace and truth were realized through Jesus Christ. The gospel of grace is that Jesus is the Son of God, Lord and Saviour for all to receive, to Jews and Gentiles. Salvation is by faith not works is a discussion and debate that has been around for hundreds and hundreds of years.
